IT SUPPORT
(Central Visayas - Cebu City)

Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical assistance and network/hardware/software training to new staff
  • Responds to internal IT assistance requests and maintains a record via the support queue
  • Technical resource to other support staff for network/hardware issues
  • Maintains a log of internal hardware and peripherals
  • Identifies and takes responsibility for personal learning needs
  • Attends and participates in Support Dept. and IT Staff meetings
  • Setup and configuration of equipment for new staff members
  • Ensure equipment is maintained, patched with updated AV software
  • Ensure security of local network, regulate installed applications on PC’s

Requirements:

  • Able to work independently as well as in a team, positive attitude
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills, including ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, analytical and research skills
  • Knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, networking and peripherals
  • Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Unity VM
  • Knowledge of Cisco routers and router configs / VPN tunnels
  • Knowledge of Linux OS’s, including basic run levels, cli commands, Apache, MySQL
  • Knowledge of Windows OS’s, both desktop and server
  • Familiarization of Active Directory, MS Exchange and Terminal Services
